The provisional quantum indices of Large Scale Manufacturing Industries (LSMI) for April, 2026 with base year 2015-16 has been developed on the basis of latest data supplied by the source agencies. The indices for April, 2026 and July-April 2025-26 along with growth are as follows: –
- QIM estimated for July- April, 2025-26 is 122.19.
- Overall Large Scale Manufacturing Sector has indicated a growth of 6.44% during July- April 2025-26 when compared with the same period of the last year.
- QIM estimated for April, 2026 is 114.56.
- The LSMI output increased by 6.06% for April, 2026 when compared with April, 2025 and decreased by 8.32% when compared with March, 2026.
