The provisional quantum indices of Large Scale Manufacturing Industries (LSMI) for March, 2026 with base year 2015-16 has been developed on the basis of latest data supplied by the source agencies. The indices for March, 2026 and July-March 2025-26 along with growth are as follows: –
- QIM estimated for July- March, 2025-26 is 123.03.
- Overall Large Scale Manufacturing Sector has indicated a growth of 6.48% during July- March 2025-26 when compared with the same period of the last year.
- QIM estimated for March, 2026 is 124.89.
- The LSMI output increased by 11.09% for March, 2026 when compared with March, 2025 and decreased by -5.19% when compared with February, 2026.
